Time for Everything

There is a time for everything under the Heavens—
A time to be born, and a time to cry,
A time to weep, and a time to smile.
But why does my time feel so different?
It seems forever marked by tears.

In solitude, my mind begins to wander,
I let go of the things I once held dear,
Yet find myself returning to them once more.
I long to change things,
But it’s not my time to make choices for my Maker.

When love feels distant, we chase the few
Who we think cares,
Neglecting those who quietly stand by.
Solitude becomes my companion.
I wish to end this struggle,
Yet I remember the duty I hold.

A time with Mary

So, I choose to find myself—
To love myself more,
To continue caring,
Hoping the Lord will be with me
In this journey,
If it be His will.
