Redemption's Timing

When all hope seemed lost, and I was going down,
You stretched Your hand and rescued me, turning it around.

You gave me a reason for Your persistent “no”,
Showing me it was the best answer, though I didn’t know.

You had something good in store, and delivered it in time,
Helping me see that Your plan was always divine.

Looking back, I see You never left my side,
All that happened was to strengthen me and be my guide.

Now blessings overflow, and I’m grateful for Your love,
The God of second chances, and the King of redemption from above.

I’ll forever thank You for Your love that sees me through,
A love that’s constant, and forever true.
