A journey begun with a single step
has achieved an astonishing milestone.
But the price we paid for taking that first step
was the testing we went through—
When the only way we could express the frustration of trying to understand complicated concepts was through tears.
While our thoughts wandered elsewhere.
We had issues and issues…
Sleepless nights by the million,
Burning the midnight oil,
All our hard work has brought us to this point.
Today, we rejoice at the triumph of being accepted into our dream schools,
With good grades and unwavering resolve.
