Lady in Blue

There is a woman whom I adore beyond measure – she is the mother of God through her unwavering faith and the mother of the universe through her incredible courage and perseverance. She surpassed Eve, the mother of the universe, with her unyielding faith and obedience. Conceived immaculately and kept pure from all sin by grace, she is blessed among all women for carrying the Savior in her womb.

Radiant as the moon and brilliant as the sun, her beauty captivates more powerfully than nectar or a magnet. The choice of blue in her attire reflects the sky and the oceans, the sources of life – for she birthed the source of all life. Her demeanor exudes calmness, serenity, and peace.

She burns with a perpetual flame of purity, a virgin forever – a wondrous mystery to behold. Her heart is vast and overflowing with love for all her neighbors. She orchestrated the first miracle of her son in Cana and stood by sinners, urging them to repent. She is the mediatrix
Crowned with twelve stars as the Queen of heaven and earth, she is exalted above the angelic choirs. She held the secret of the Messiah and pondered the mysteries of Christ, becoming a model, disciple, and mother to all who follow God’s will.
Let us raise our voices in her Magnificat and seek her intercession. Mary, our Mother, pray for us!
