You guide us, one gentle step at a time.
Your patience is like morning dew,
On the flowers of our growing faith.

A Father, Brother, and Friend,
Your humble hands have shown us how
To find God’s grace in simple things:
In bread broken and shared with love,
In silence that speaks volumes of peace,
In the laughter that echoes through our halls.

You wear your wisdom lightly,
Like Francis who wore his humble cord,
Teaching us not through mighty words
But through the quiet strength
Of a life lived in perfect joy.

Each day you show us how to kneel,
Before the Lord, before the poor,
Before the wonder of God’s creation.
Your example lighting our path
Like candles in San Damiano.

Today we celebrate the gift
Of your presence in our journey,
Your footprint beside our own,
As we learn to walk this ancient way
Of minority and service.
