Addiction—the worst thing that can befall,
Bets and drugs led me down the devil’s call.
I lost myself, my world in pieces,
Everything I had slipped further away.
I tried to break free but couldn’t find the light,
The weight of it all turned day into night.
Suicide whispered as a final escape,
But even in my tears, it wasn’t my fate.

Then came a friend, an angel by my side,
Through counsel and love, my despair was denied.
I rose from the darkness, found the strength to stand,
A new life emerged from the angel’s hand.
The joy of freedom, words can’t convey,
A new chance at life, I’m grateful today.
Thank you, God, for saving my soul,
Say NO to addiction—regain your control.
