It is often said that everyone has their own opinions, just like everyone has their noses. People will always have different views about others, but the bond we share is rooted in brotherhood. Our encounters, though brief, have always been meaningful.
I often think about what I would have done when I almost lost consciousness after that terrible incident. At that moment, he was there for me, offering me a shoulder to lean on. Remembering our interactions fills me with hope, showing me that there are still young people who are willing to help, even when it is uncomfortable.
I was overjoyed when he humbly knelt for the Church to call upon the power of the saints for him and his peers. After his final commitment to God and the Church, I could see a sense of peace surrounding him. His never-ending smile and his connection with the youth show his enduring, positive spirit.
