Shining Light

March 29, 2025 · 2 responses

A heart so kind, a soul so bright,
You light up nights, like the stars in sight.
With tears and laughter, you’re never far,
A friend and sister, a love so fair.

Your kindness is a river so wide,
It touches hearts and souls, side by side.
In joy or need, when times are sore,
You’re always there, a deed we adore.

With each step forward, with each stumble too,
You lift me up, no matter what I do.
Your love and concern, a beacon light,
Guide me through shadows into the light.

You are a gem, a precious stone,
A sister and friend, a love that’s known.
With you near, I am at ease,
A sense of belonging, a world to release.

So here’s to you, dear sister and friend so dear,
A toast to love and cheer.
May your heart stay aglow, your spirit free,
Forever in my heart, a love for thee.
