Unbroken Gift

Enduring Love

Love is the daily meal I serve,
But tears are the price I’ve paid, it’s hard to endure.
Am I not worth the same kind of love I show?
My heart pierced with thorns, despite all I’ve done to make it grow.

Why make me feel not good enough when others say I’m fine?
Why force me to change, only to say I’ve lost my shine?
Am I too cheap to be bullied, used, and discarded like a worn-out thing?
Just because I welcome you with a smile, like the father to the Prodigal Son’s return?

Don’t think I don’t have feelings, like the air I breathe, I was born to be free.
Like nature, I was born to be beautiful, good, and wild, expecting nothing back, just a little care from you will do.
Despite the pain you cause, my love won’t seek revenge.
No matter how hurt I am, I’ll love you the same, till the very end.

I’ll be your listening ear, your shoulder to cry on when you’re sad.
I’ll welcome you, no matter how hurt I am, with a heart that’s not mad.
But don’t forget, I’m a soul, evolving with each passing time.
My wish is to never change the kindness and love that makes me shine.

As I rise from the ashes of heartache and pain, I’ll hold on to love.
Though it may not remain, love doesn’t expect to be returned, it’s a gift I give freely, my heart forever learned.

The words are very deep. Keep it up girl🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭.

  2. Before u serve love ensure u have had a full bowl of what u would want to offer. Those who serve love at the expense of self are crushed under the weight of ingratitude. Unfortunately love flows in one direction but if it has a mutual back and forth that is a wonderful experience. Don’t serve love when u have not filled ur own spirit with self love and self worth
